Kane’s Green Piece: 2009 Wrap-up
Thanks to all our associates for your participation in our recycling program. We’ve calculated the final numbers for 2009. Through your efforts, we have successfully recycled:

- 7.1 tons of office paper and magazines
- 4,313 tons of corrugated materials throughout our packaging operations

Recycling Facts & Figures
Recycling 1 ton of aluminum cans conserves the equivalent of 1,665 gallons of gasoline.
Each ton of mixed paper that is recycled can save the energy equivalent to 185 gallons of gasoline.
