Kane Is Able Names Gary Griffith as Senior VP of Business Development and Marketing
Third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able, Inc. (KANE -- www.kaneisable.com) has named 22-year logistics industry veteran Gary Griffith as its new Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. Griffith will direct KANE’s national sales and marketing efforts to offer optimum logistics solutions to the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. He will report to KANE President and CEO, Pete Westermann.
Griffith joins KANE from the Jacobson Companies where he served as Vice President of Business Development for National Accounts. Prior to that, he was the Director of Business Development for APL Logistics. Griffith’s logistics experience spans business development, sales management, and warehouse operations, with a focus on the supply chain needs of clients in the CPG, electronics, and retail industries. Having worked for both international and domestic 3PL providers, he brings a unique perspective in providing services to meet the challenges of managing today’s global supply chains.
Griffith is an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and member of the North Carolina World Trade Associations Piedmont Chapter. He holds Certificates in Warehousing Operations from North Carolina State University, and Global Logistics Technology from Lenoir College.
