KANE Leadership Team Adds New Associates

Kane Is Able is pleased to announce two new members to our leadership team.

Charlie Jacobs joined Kane Is Able on Aug 13th and serves as Director, Continuous Improvement (CI) and Implementations. In this newly created role, Charlie will initially focus on leading the implementation team at our new facility in Fontana, CA that will serve AGFA, coordinating the relocation of Materne to a larger building in Lockport, IL, and leading the expansion startup in Allentown, PA.

Our sales growth for 2018 is ahead of plan by more than 100%, at $25M and we expect the trend to continue into 2019. In between projects, Charlie will begin setting the structure and formalizing our CI program, which we expect to be rolled out in Q1 of next year.

Prior to joining KANE, Charlie most recently served as Director, Service Quality & Process Management, Global Safety, Security & Environment for APL Logistics in Scottsdale, AZ. In addition to establishing APL’s Continuous improvement program from “scratch” more than 13 years ago, Charlie also served as General Manager supporting Dell Computer in Reno, NV and also as a Project Manager.

Jeff Godwin will assume General Manager responsibilities for our Allentown operations beginning Aug 20th overseeing both the Industrial Blvd and SunOpta facilities bringing more than 25 years of 3PL experience. Additionally, Jeff will play an integral role leading and supporting the startup of our third site in this market in the next 90 days to facilitate the growth of one of our newest customers, Hain Celestial.

Prior to joining KANE, Jeff served as General Manager for third party logistics provider APL Logistics, where he was responsible for a 650,000 sq ft CPG facility in Hamilton, NJ.

Please welcome both of these individuals into the KANE family.
